**WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA

The Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter is an official supporter and fundraising partner for Wreaths Across America.  Wreaths Across America is an annual event held on the second Saturday of December by which volunteers place thousands of beautiful Christmas wreaths on the graves of veterans in National and Regional Veteran’s Cemeteries across America.

The effort is both monumental and expensive.  Donors can sponsor a wreath for the grave of a veteran with a $15 donation (completely tax deductible as allowed by law).  Our chapter is a committed fundraising partner with WAA.

The Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter will be leading the Wreaths Across America ceremony on Saturday, December 12, at the Lawrence Cemetery near Cadiz.  WAA is  considered a “National Color Guard Event” by SAR.  We also hope to take a large group of Trigg County volunteers with us on that day.
