Steve Mallory Represents Chapter at Kentucky Grave Marking

Chapter President Steve Mallory attended a recent grave marking hosted by the Gov. Isaac Shelby Chapter.  The Compatriots honored Reuben Boston, a soldier in the Virginia Continental Line.

Steve presented the Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter wreath and took part in the musket / long rifle salute.


Col. Stephen Trigg Eagle Scouts Honor the 2017 Chapter Eagle Scout Winner

Compatriots Dr. Brad Rankin and Jim Rudd, both Eagle Scouts and residents of Paducah, made a special appearance in their home city at the meeting of Troop 2004 of the Lincoln Heritage Council, BSA, to honor the chapter’s 2017 Eagle Scout Scholarship Recipient.  Cody Tynes of Paducah is our 2017 Eagle Scout honoree.

Cody represented the Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter in the Kentucky state competition.  He placed third in the state out of nine applicants and received a cash award of $100.  In addition, the chapter honored him with a chapter award of $100, the SAR Eagle Scout Medal, the SAR Eagle Scout Badge, and the SAR Eagle Scout Certificate.

WWII Veteran Honored

Compatriot Ron Drennan of Owensboro recently honored a World War II veteran in his community with the Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter’s Veteran’s Appreciation Medal and Certificate.  James Beller served in the United States Army.

We salute Mr. Beller, an honored citizen of our “greatest generation.”
