The Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter had an amazing evening last night at the 125th annual NSSAR Congress in Louisville.  The chapter was recognized nationally for its accomplishments in 2014.  The chapter received three prestigious awards:

  • The USS Stark Memorial Award – To the Chapter with the best record for service to veterans in the past year.  Only two awards are given nationally.  The Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter received this award for chapters with less than 80 members.  Our Compatriots from the Gov. Isaac Shelby Chapter in Shelbyville, Kentucky, received the award for chapters with over 80 members.  We received a certificate and flag streamer.

Stephen Trigg Chapter received the award for the 10-49 member class, and led the nation in Americanism service points with 20, 349, receiving a chapter certificate and flag streamer.
  • The President General’s Cup – To the chapter based upon size that presents evidence of the most complete program of activities.  Only two of these coveted awards are given in the entire nation, one for chapters with less than 80 members and one for chapters with over 80 members.  The Col.
