Honoring Our Veterans

Compatriots of the Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter have been busy honoring local veterans this past week!

Steve Mallory made a special visit to honor his friend and Vietnam War veteran George Southwick and present him with our Veteran’s Appreciation Medal.  Mr. Southwick was unable to attend our recent Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day.

Later in the week Geoff Baggett and Steve Mallory visited the Pennyroyal Veterans Center in Hopkinsville to deliver two beds and a load of other items needed at the center.  While there, Steve Mallory presented a Veteran’s Appreciation Certificate and a “Don’t Tread on Me” one-ounce copper “challenge coin” to two center residents, Charles Powell and Arthur Moton.
