A Compatriot Honors His Doctor

Compatriot Glenn Greenfield is having an operation tomorrow.  He’s going to have his second knee replacement.  (We tease him about being our colonial “bionic man.”)  While visiting his orthopaedic surgeon today for some pre-op testing he brought a special surprise.  Glenn dressed in his Revolutionary War attire and presented his physician, Dr. John Allen Yazerski, with the chapter’s Veteran’s Appreciation Medal.

Before becoming a physician, Dr. Yezerski was a physical therapist.  He served on Active Duty in the U.S. Army as an Assistant Chief of Physical Therapy for five years and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve for 13 years before receiving an honorable discharge in 1991.
