Today’s honoree, the chapter’s second in 2014, was Trigg County Ambulance Service EMT Frank Boone.  The ceremony was attended by all Ambulance Service Staff, hospital officials, friends and family, and Trigg County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander.

In November 1977 Frank Boone was hired as the second employee of the Trigg County Ambulance Service.  Frank has served our community for thirty-six years as an Emergency Medical Technician. He has been a backbone of the Ambulance Service is something of a permanent fixture in our community.

For the past thirty-six years Frank has passed, on a biennial basis, a comprehensive recertification program and completed courses to refresh his fundamental knowledge and lifesaving skills. He has utilized and honed those skills on every emergency run or patient transport in which he has participated. Every patient he has served can testify that Frank Boone has gone above and beyond his duty to care for the people of Trigg County.
