HCA Hopkinsville Event a Success!

Compatriots from the Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter visited Heritage Christian Academy in Hopkinsville today to visit with Ms. Tammy Hayes’ fourth grade history classes.  They were invited to bring an educational/historical program for the two classes, as well as present awards for participation in the Youth Poster Contest.  Thirty 4th Grade HCA students participated in the 2013-14 contest, with the theme of, “Francis Marion: The Swamp Fox.”

Two class winners received the “Outstanding Citizenship Award” and a copy of a book about Francis Marion.

Below are photos from the experience.
